MTS’ board recommends paying 31.2 bln rbl in 2016 dividends
MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- The board of directors of Russian mobile operator MTS has recommended paying 31.17 billion rubles, or 15.6 rubles per common share, in dividends for 2016, the company said on Wednesday in a statement.
The payment per American depositary receipt (ADR) is proposed at 31.2 rubles.
The operator paid 23.96 billion rubles in dividends for January–June 2016, or 11.99 rubles per common share.
For 2015, MTS paid 28 billion rubles in dividends, or 14.01 rubles per common share and 28.02 rubles per ADR. For January–June 2015, the company paid 11.6 billion rubles, or 5.61 rubles per common share.
Multi-industry holding Sistema owns 48.94% in MTS’ capital, and 48.88% are in free float.
